The Lincoln Highway Association in Greene County will participate in the annual Lincoln Highway Buy-Way yard and garage sale on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Aug. 13, 14 and 15.
Individuals, groups and organizations are encouraged to set up a yard sale or garage sale anywhere along the Lincoln Highway in Scranton, Jefferson and Grand Junction and all points in between during the three days of the event.
Garage sales adjacent to the Lincoln Highway (Old Highway 30) within a block or two can be included in the Buy-Way. Garage sales are encouraged for one, two or all three days of the event.
The Lincoln Highway Buy-Way yard and garage sale is one of the longest events of its type in the nation. The event has participants along the historic Lincoln Highway in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Iowa.
